Hanoi, Vietnam- Day Four 14 December 2015

Hello people, this post probably gonna be the second last update about my Hanoi trip. So on the fourth day, we eventually went for the ride in Halong Bay, although the weather wasn't very pleasant, quite foggy and drizzling. But, we were still able to enjoy the foggy side of Halong Bay. haha
View from the rooftop restaurant where we had our breakfast.

The hotel restaurant was crowded with tourists. omg

After having our breakfast, we headed to the jetty for the ride in Halong Bay!

Boat of the day, Sai Gon Ha Long.

Crazy over wefie, lol

It was around 8 or 9 something in the morning, as you can see it was really foggy....

As we went to the upper deck, it started to drizzle, but it ain't stop us from going up. hahaha

We were well-prepared.

Enjoying their moment together.

So the first stop, we went to a stone cave, Tian Gong Dong, which is famous for tourists.

Picha taken by our tourguide AhXia.
(taken from her fb, so the quality was degraded, D;)

Going into the cave, yo!

Tbh, it was quite crowded and noisy inside, too many tourists. lol The cave was huge tho, quite chilling.

View taken when going back to boat.

There was a local 'photographer' who followed us to wherever we went and took photo of us. lol
And they charged $1 for one photo.

I just couldn't stop laughing. I needed to snap this moment. lol

A picha with our beloved tourguide.

Let your imagination flows........

fake candid. :P

Okay, I guess that moment started to get sunny. LOL

Then we stopped by a fisherman's house to get some more seafood for our lunch, but what my sister and I spotted wasn't the food, but the dog.

Look at him, I just couldn't resist to pat him, just too much cuteness.

He was really friendly and quiet. Or maybe we interrupted his chilling moment.

He was enjoying patting from us.
He looked like a mixed chowchow. omg, so cuteeeeeeeeeee

After getting some crab and octopus, we had our lunch in the boat.

I would say the dishes weren't as tasty as expected, but the seafood were very fresh, yet the cooking method just failed to bring out the best of all ingredients. wasted.

After having lunch in the boat, we eventually headed back to Hanoi, which took around 4 hours of journey.... And it was time for dinner.

Last dinner in Hanoi

After having our dinner, we had some free time at Hanoi Old Quarter, to wander around.

The hectic traffic in Hanoi. omg.
That's the junction we dared not the cross, just too crazy for us.

Then, we met up with Huong, my cousie's Vietnamese friend, to bring me and my sisters to taste the authentic Vietnamese culture.

Our first roadside chillax in Vietnam, I would say interesting and great way to spend quality time together.

They don't really just sit there and browse their phones, but chitchatting with friends. Some might be playing phone games with each other and just burst into laughter.

That's the cafe we had our tea.

An old church opposite the lil oldschool cafe.

Backstreet stall, still going strong.

Vietnamese sausage.

Huong brought us to get some preserved plums which tasted surprisingly good.

Night lake view

Walking around, and I found that locals love night jog, in their winter time. LOL

Then, we got on the cab and went back to our hotel. And that's how we spent our last fulfilling night in Hanoi. I was really glad and appreciate Huong's friendly hospitality. I eventually got to taste some really local thing. yay!

That's all for my fourth day in Hanoi. I still haven't arrange the photos in fifth day aka last day, hahahahaha. Nothing much happened, but our tourguide AhXia brought us to her friend's cafe to have some quality Vietnamese coffee. Will blog about it on the next post! Stay tuned.

take care, loveya'll,
xoxo,
